Who is Yuki Angdembe?
Yuki “The Gurkha” Angdembe is a Nepali bantamweight, 8-3, born in Nepal, raised in the UK, and fighting out of Soma Fight Club in Bali under Youssef Wehbe — the same gym and the same coach as Rabindra Dhant. Tapology ranks him the fifth-best bantamweight in South Asia. Five of his eight wins are knockouts, two are submissions.
He arrived at this fight on a two-fight run: a first-round Japanese necktie submission of India's Mandeep Prajapati at Matrix Fight Night 18 in Greater Noida in May 2026, in front of a crowd that had come to see the Indian win, and a first-round TKO of Yacub Christ Nugroho in February. Nepali fans saw him at home in September 2024, when he stopped William Gurgui in the first round at Nepal Warriors Championship in Kathmandu. His three career losses include a 2021 fight with Luke Riley, who is now in the UFC.
He is also the reason Rabindra Dhant is at Soma at all: their coach has said on record that it was Yuki who told him about Dhant and asked to have him brought in. Nepal's two international fighters came through the same door.
Who is Buhuogubu?
Buhuogubu — “The Yi Eagle” — is a 10-7 bantamweight from Liangshan in Sichuan, fighting out of the Yi Fight Training Center, and a JCK regular since 2021. He is a wrestler by foundation, five foot seven with a 66.5-inch reach, and he has been in with the best of the promotion's bantamweight division.
He is also, on paper, catchable. He comes in on a three-fight losing streak, every one of them a finish: a first-round TKO by Rui Chen in June, a first-round TKO by the unbeaten Qubiguqian in January, and a first-round kimura by Jimuwusha last September. Six of his ten wins are knockouts and none is a submission; four of his seven losses are submissions. Angdembe finished his last two opponents inside a round, one of them by submission.
