Music Festivals in Nepal

Nepal packs a surprising amount into a short festival calendar. Autumn belongs to Jazzmandu, the week-long Kathmandu Jazz Festival that turns clubs and the Gokarna forest into stages every October–November. December swings the other way with Silence Festival, the country's loudest metal gathering. In between, lakeside sets in Pokhara and EDM and pop weekenders round out a year that has a lot more going on than most visitors expect.
