What a weekend of live music in Kathmandu looks like

Over the last 90 days we listed 102 live-music nights on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays across the valley. The same rooms come up again and again: The Roof (6 weekend nights), Jazz Upstairs (4 weekend nights), Club NOVA (3 weekend nights), Eden Sanepa (3 weekend nights), Electric Pagoda (3 weekend nights) and Moksh Live Restaurant & Bar (3 weekend nights).

Most weekend sets start between 3 PM and 8 PM Nepal time. Times on this page come from each organizer's own post, so check the listing before you head out.

About 9% of those nights were confirmed free by the organizer; the rest were ticketed or did not say, and we only mark a gig free when the source does. The list below is every gig confirmed for the coming Friday to Sunday, and it updates daily as new gigs are announced — for everything further out, see live music in Kathmandu or upcoming concerts.
