About this Event Kajri: A Monsoon Baithak An afternoon of rain, music, mehendi, chai, and folk art. Kajri returns to the garden at Nextdoor Kathmandu. This is not quite a concert. It is a hosted monsoon gathering that begins slowly and gradually gathers into performance. Come from 2 PM and make yourself comfortable. Find a jhula, get some mehendi, meet people over chai, jalebi and monsoon snacks, or simply spend an unhurried afternoon in the garden. As the afternoon unfolds, we will gather for three to four short performances by invited folk and contemporary artists celebrating the monsoon. Reduced Contribution: NPR 750 The reduced contribution is available to make the gathering more accessible to anyone for whom the full rate would make it difficult to attend.
