The inaugural Kathmandu Film Festival, an initiative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (UNESCO Creative City of Film): three days of Nepali and international films at Rastriya Sabha Griha and Jai Nepal Cinema, 30 October to 1 November 2026 (Kartik 13-15, 2083). Deepak Rauniyar's Private Property closes the festival on Sunday 1 November. Screenings are free, but seats must be booked in advance through the QR code on the festival poster or the link in @kathmandufilmfestival's bio (up to 4 seats per person). Daily screening times not yet announced.
