A three-day Tihar programme for children aged 3 to 10 at Periwinkle Kids World, Mid-Baneshwor, on Kartik 21, 22 and 23 (Sat 7 – Mon 9 Nov). The children make garlands and decorate a flower courtyard, make and decorate their own clay diyo to take home, play in a little festive house, make rangoli from nature, and learn deusi-bhailo songs and rhythms. Tihar stories and songs throughout; no rehearsed performances. Registration is open (call or WhatsApp 9828484355); a vehicle is available on request. Daily timings and the fee have not been announced.
