A free RSVP form that gives you a real guest list

A Google Form gets you names in a spreadsheet. It gives you nothing at the door, no capacity cap, no reminder, and no way to reach the people who signed up. This does all of that, for free, and guests never need an app.

How it works

  1. 1

    List the event

Or claim it if it is already on Kata Jaam. Listing is free.

  2. 2

    Turn on RSVPs

Set a capacity if the room has one, and add your questions โ€” up to a handful, required or optional.

  3. 3

    Share one link

The event page carries the RSVP. Works for people with or without the app; a guest gets a QR ticket page they can screenshot.

  4. 4

    Scan at the door

Open the scanner on any phone. It works offline, flags duplicates, and shows each guest's answers.

  5. 5

    Message everyone registered

One update reaches every guest by push, or by email when they have no app โ€” plus everyone who saved the event.

The questions organizers actually ask

  • Emergency contact โ€” for hikes, runs and anything outdoors. (Name and phone come with every RSVP; email is optional.)
  • College / company โ€” for hackathons, tournaments and networking nights.
  • How many are you bringing? โ€” a choice question, so the cap stays honest.
  • Dietary / t-shirt size / team name โ€” anything the door or the kitchen needs to know before the day.
  • How did you hear about this? โ€” the answer tells you where to promote the next one.

The same rail sells tickets: general, early bird, VIP, capped or unlimited, with Khalti checkout and the same QR code and scanner. Kata Jaam takes 0 % commission โ€” buyers pay a small booking fee, you receive face value. How ticketing works. โ€œReserve now, pay at the doorโ€ is also there for the nights where people will not pay online.

List your event โ€” it takes minutes

Free. Your event gets its own Google-ranked page, a spot in the app, and a way to reach everyone who is interested.

No card, no subscription. Or DM @kata.jaam and we set it up for you.

Questions organizers ask

Yes. Kata Jaam gives every organizer free RSVPs: a registration with your own questions (college, t-shirt size, how many you are bringing, anything), a live guest list, a capacity cap, QR check-in at the door and a CSV export. Guests do not need an account or the app โ€” the RSVP works on the event page on katajaam.com and each guest gets a QR ticket page.
